Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins and Matty J train for the Olympics thanks to Oakley
Inspired by Oakley’s limited edition eye wear, Harmony Fade, which was designed for the 2018 Winter Olympics, Nick and Matty strapped on their skates.
The limited edition Harmony Fade was a new colour way of orange and yellow which every global Oakley athlete who competed in the games wore. The the collection was designed to celebrate the journey and commitment that athletes make to rqeach the world stage of competition. The collection features orange to represent the fire that burns inside each and every competitor, and yellow for the sun that leads to the path of athletes brave enough to pursue their dreams.
Lampoon Group’s goal was to create something that was broad reaching and entertaining whilst still incorporating the key messaging around Harmony Fade. This was the perfect opportunity to work with their friends, Matty J and Nick. The skit focused on them preparing for the Olympics and offered a glimpse behind the scenes of what it takes to be an athlete at the top of the game. The Figure Skating duo showed off some of their routine, as well as giving their tips and tricks to success for ‘The Big O’.
