Always Human to PR 2024 Sydney Marathon

Always Human has been appointed as the lead PR agency for Australia’s largest Marathon, the Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS.

Always Human will provide PR services including communications strategy, media relations, ambassador and influencer management, media accreditation, and on site event day PR management.

A Candidate Race for the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM), Sydney Marathon enters its final year of a multi-year evaluation process by AbbottWMM in 2024.

To become a Major, the Sydney Marathon is required to meet strict criteria and if successful, will join an esteemed group of races – Tokyo Marathon, Boston Marathon, TCS London Marathon, BMW-BERLIN Marathon, Bank of America Chicago Marathon and TCS New York City Marathon – as a new member of the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors in 2025.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sydney Marathon to our portfolio of clients. As an agency, Always Human has long been embedded amongst the running community,” said Josh White, CEO, Always Human Group. “We are looking forward to driving increased participation and support for this year’s marathon and elevating the profile of the event to domestic and international audiences.”
