Lampoon Group's Talent Management division signs cricket sensation, Ellyse Perry

Lampoon Group’s Talent Management division is thrilled to announce the signing of Australian cricket sensation, Ellyse Perry.

At just 27 and in her sporting prime, Ellyse has accrued more than a decade of elite-level success at home and abroad.

Not only is Ellyse the youngest ever cricketer, male or female, to have represented Australia at International and Test level, she is one of the very few Australians to have represented her country in two different sports, and is the only person ever to have played for Australia in both cricket and soccer World Cups.

Cricket Australia, not short of high achievers to draw upon, has called Ellyse “arguably the best athlete in Australia”.

Lampoon Group CEO, Josh White, said of the announcement,

“I’ve been following Ellyse’s journey and like most Australian’s have watched in awe at her on-field achievements and the success she continues to have. Ellyse has paved the way for generations of young female athletes to do what they are passionate about, and make a career out of it. The momentum and energy we are seeing around women in sport in this country is unprecedented, and to have the opportunity to drive and elevate the mainstream commercial success for an athlete of Ellyse’s calibre is exciting”.

Currently the world’s top ranked women’s all rounder, the ever-modest Ellyse’s many accolades include being named the inaugural ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year in 2017, and twice winning Australia’s prestigious Women’s International Cricketer of the Year (Belinda Clark Award) in both 2016 and 2018.

With a slew of high profile endorsements, including global sports apparel giant, Adidas, and leading sports broadcaster, Fox Sports, Ellyse’s commercial appeal reaches far and wide.

Ellyse has also penned a four-book series to encourage girls to get active and pursue their ambitions. This is, she says, an exciting time for women’s sport, with awareness and coverage growing in leaps and bounds:

“Young girls can now turn on the TV and see women competing and doing what we love. That’s so cool.”

Ellyse joins Lampoon Group’s highly regarded talent roster, including Aussie cult hero, Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins, dual Winter Olympian and world #2 Freestyle Aerial Skier, Danielle Scott, and Sevens Rugby phenomenon, Charlotte Caslick.
